Hooked on My New Pillow

Several weeks ago I won a gift certificate from a blog giveaway hosted by Dining with Debbie. The $25 gift certificate was for an item from K. Chenault Designs.

After looking over so many lovely items on her site, I finally chose the Single Initial Monogram Chenille Pillow. I would love to make over our master bedroom in the near future and decided that this pillow would be the perfect start to the project.

I received my pillow yesterday and was thrilled! It was beautifully wrapped when I pulled it out of the box.

I put the pillow on our bed with the current bedding (which I'd like to replace) and it immediately dressed it up!

I currently have a magazine picture taped to our master bedroom door. It is my inspiration for the look and feel I would like to create in our bedroom some day. This pillow is the first piece to the puzzle!

Read about what others are hooked on at Hooked on Friday.

  1. Interesting!!! The puzzle will soon be revealed to us all then?

My Show n Tell is the last of my Autumn decoration. Come by if you can...I'll love having you visit.

  2. First congrats on winning! And second - that pillow looks wonderful on your bed, it certainly does dress it up.

    I want one!!

  3. What a great pillow! I love monograms and how great that it was free!
I'm having a shopping gift card giveaway today if you want to try your luck again. :-)
Hope you have a great weekend...

  4. how fun to receive that pillow. A pillow can really make all the diff. There is a pillow I just bought for my lvg room behind Jake in my post. I also am gonna redo my master too. Blessings!

  5. Adorable!! :) Love that monogram. Good for you for keeping your inspiration in plain sight instead of hidden away! Visiting from Julia's party. :)

  6. It does make a statement, there. I'd love to see what you're planning to do.

  7. What a neat idea for a pillow. I sew, and I think I will be trying that one! Thanks for sharing.

  8. Great to win the pillow! It looks pretty on your bed.

  9. I like the pillow, it's funny how one small thing can brighten a room or you can plan a room around one small object. It's a neat idea you have putting the magazine picture on the door. I see so many things I like in magazines and when ready to do some of them I can never remember what magazine or page it is on.

  10. What a great pillow to start with! I have been wanting new pillows for some time now. Have a great weekend!

  11. Great start to a beautiful room! Love it! Jean
