Blogging is a wonderful medium for communicating thoughts and ideas. It allows me to chronicle the passing days of my daughters' lives, share tips that have helped me along the way and ask for advice in areas where I may be struggling. It can, however, become a master. While on certain days, the words come poring forth faster than my fingers can strike the keys, there are occasions when the compulsion to write something every day has only left me feeling frustrated.
As of now, I am relieving the self-induced pressure to post daily. Some weeks I will; other weeks I may only post three days (one of which will be Mondays, as we continue our series on the virtuous woman.) Especially at this time of year, the hours are so precious, the activities so numerous, the living so full that I want to experience it all without driving myself to sit down at the computer and force out a post.
So if you visit one morning to see nothing new, just know that I'm probably baking this, reading this, enjoying this or doing this. And I'll be back tomorrow.

Tracey, I can totally relate to this! Yes, all in balance... Looking forward to Mondays!!! :-) Have a blessed rest of your week!
ReplyDeleteAmen! This is something I have struggled with as well. I need the Lord with me in my blogging, and many days I feel He would have me stay away from the computer, free from distraction, so I can focus on the whole of life. Then I can come back refreshed and inspired to share. :)
ReplyDeleteLovely - so glad that I'm not the only one struggling with this! Some days I have more to share than I can type, and other days I want to ignore my laptop and play with my girls :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you!
Amen! The whole reason I started blogging was that I left a private journal site with a fabulous group of ladies, b/c I felt very pressured to post there everyday, not only in my journal, but also in all of theirs. It got not fun. So enjoy posting at your own, organic pace! :-)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your precious moments with your girls. I'll be looking forward to your posts whenever you get to them - I enjoy reading what you share on here. :) Blessings!
ReplyDeleteThat's it--the SELF-IMPOSED pressure! Where does it come from! So glad you shared this with me! And so glad you're putting your sweet girls first! :)
