Hard work is often the easy work you did not do at the proper time. ~Bernard Meltzer
Do you ever struggle with procrastination? I'm afraid I do!
Since I crafted my house cleaning schedule earlier this year, I've done much better with those weekly chores. However, here are some areas where I often procrastinate.
- Making phone calls
- Scheduling appointments
- Paperwork (This includes anything from entering our daughters' grades into the computer to filing bank statements.)
- Meal planning
What tasks do you tend to put off doing? Will you join me today in choosing one thing you've been procrastinating on and getting it done?

Oh, please let me keep procrastinating! Seriously, though, I procrastinate on most of the same things you do, except meal planning. I can't make a grocery list and go to the grocery store without knowing what we'll eat for the week. The one thing I want to get done this week is our Christmas cards. Will you keep me accountable? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteNikki,
DeleteI also have to meal plan before I make my grocery list and go shopping, but I usually wait until I know I'm going to the grocery store in the next few hours before I make myself sit down and do it. It really shouldn't be that hard since we often eat the same type meals every few weeks, but somehow I dread writing out that meal plan!
I will check back in with you later this week to see how those Christmas cards are coming!!
There are a few things I've been procrastinating on and I need to just DO it. Thanks for the nudge!
ReplyDeleteI'm bad with ALL CLEANING (no, I don't want to make a schedule for myself :-P), laundry, and phone calls, too. Now, holiday stuff (Christmas cards, decorating, birthday plans, etc.) I am always on top of! :-)
