Simply a Pen

Having acknowledged that I am not a mind reader, I also understand that I do not know all that goes on in the heart of my children.

As their mother, I can feed them healthy foods, take them to the doctor for checkups, provide them with a loving home environment and supply them with a good education.

I cannot, however, make them grow spiritually. Only God can work in the heart of my children - but, as I am willing and surrendered, He can use me in the process.

"You are simply a pen; God can write with you, but you cannot write anything by yourself." ~ C. H. Spurgeon, Spiritual Parenting
