I wonder if we realize what a privilege and blessing it is to have someone praying for us. It's truly a gift to have another person bringing our name to God's throne and requesting something specifically for us.
I do that on a regular basis for my daughters, but I don't necessarily mention it to them. Today, I'm going to make a point to pray a specific prayer for each of my daughters and then tell them about it individually.
My prayer for each one will be different as they are currently experiencing their own particular challenges. It may be for a difficult test they have to take at school, a friendship issue, a spiritual need, or a physical matter.
We know that we serve a God who answers prayer, so let's bring the needs of our daughters before Him today and then share with our girls that we are praying for them!

Oh, I haven't thought about letting my children know that I'm praying for them! And I need to! Thanks for the idea!
