December Reading

Just to tie up loose ends from 2012...

You'll see that December was a good month for many things, but not for personal reading!
  • Organizing Your Day:  Time Management Techniques That Will Work for You by Sandra Felton and Marsha Sims.  This was a good, practical read as I thought about changes I could make to my schedule in the new year.
  • The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business by Charles Duhigg.  Considering how many things we do out of habit - and how we can change bad habits to good ones - made this a fascinating book.
  • Invisible by Lorena McCourtney.  I'd like to read more books in this series about an older widow turned sleuth.
I read at least 65 books in 2012.  (There were a few e-books and other miscellaneous books that I didn't record on my blog and weren't included in that number.)  Tomorrow I'll be posting the list of books I want to read in 2013.  If you have any recommendations, please let me know!

  1. Organizing Your Day sounds like a book I could use. I feel so disorganized, although we do have a routine. It just feels like I'm wasting time...somewhere.... I'll have to look into this book. Thanks for the recommendation.

  2. I really liked The Power of Habit, and Invisible has been on my list but I haven't gotten to it yet.
