As I began making a list of the books I'd like to read this year, I tried to balance the type of books I'm reading. I want to focus on those that will help me grow spiritually, as a wife, as a mother, and as a person.
I certainly plan to read more than these twenty books. I tend to peruse the books on the "new non-fiction" shelves at the library and look for recommendations from other bloggers. You'll also note that there are no fiction titles included, but I'm sure I'll be reading those from time to time.
Here's the list of books I plan to read in 2013. A couple of them are books that I'm reading for the second or third time.

John and I tried reading His Needs, Her Needs when we were engaged a loooong time ago, and we didn't care for it. I hope that you have a better experience.
His Needs, Her Needs has been on our bookshelf and I think I read it years ago, but don't remember much about it. I figured I'd read it this year, then get rid of it if I don't find it helpful. I look forward to reading Sacred Marriage as I've heard many positive comments about it.
DeleteOh, and I've already finished Evidence Not Seen and it was a truly inspiring book! The story of this woman's faith through so many trials (the difficulty of which is hard to even imagine) makes me want to walk even closer to our Lord.
