Thanksgiving Week Video and a Favorite Praise Passage

It's Thanksgiving week!

Source

I shot a quick video just to wish you and your family a very happy Thanksgiving!

{If you're reading this in an e-mail or via a feed reader, you may have to click over to my blog to be able to watch the video.}

If you'd like a passage to meditate on this week, here's one of my favorites, a prayer of David's, given in 1 Chronicles 29:11-14.
Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty:  for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.
Both riches and honor come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.
Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.
But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort?  for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.
I'll be back on Monday, November 28, with the fourth step in our series on Seven Steps to Becoming a Wise Woman.

  3. I LOVE this prayer of David's and have it marked in my "church Bible" (the one I haul back and forth every week as opposed to my two-ton Thompson Chain Reference) to use when leading worship. It makes a great "ITW"--"invitation to worship," which is a fancy way of saying "how to get the congregation standing for the first song"! ;) Have a blessed Thanksgiving with your sweet ones, Tracey!
