Book Review: One Call Away by Brenda Warner

Brenda Warner, wife of former NFL quarterback Kurt Warner and mother of seven children, has written a memoir which walks us through the major events of her life.  One Call Away views the twists and turns her journey has taken through the lens of her faith and, in retrospect, of God's plan for her.

An intriguing story that reads almost like fiction, this definitely kept my attention.  Brenda reveals more intimate details than I am comfortable reading, but I suppose she attempted to be as relatable as possible.  She is brutally honest about her failings and imparts to the reader the importance of a strong faith in fighting through many difficult situations and unthinkable tragedies.

This woman's dedication to her family and the way she and her husband use their position to give back to others is admirable.  You can read more about the book, including reviews from other bloggers, at Thomas Nelson Publishers.
