"And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord;
be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her." ~Luke 1:38
Oh, what faith Mary had! In spite of the unusual situation she found herself in and the almost unbelievable words spoken by the angel, she had complete trust that God could accomplish what He said.
During this Christmas season, may we ponder the promises we've been given in the Bible and, like Mary, have the faith to take God at His word. As the angel said, "For with God nothing shall be impossible." (Luke 1:37)
