What Appointments Do You Have Today?

Paul recounts the story of his conversion in Acts 22.  In verse 10, he recalls the words of instruction from Jesus that "...it shall be told thee of all things which are appointed for thee to do."

Just as God appointed Paul things to do, so God has appointments for you and I to keep.  Whether it be individuals He places in our path or circumstances we encounter as we go through our day, God has a plan for what He is seeking to accomplish in our lives.  Our focus should be to recognize these opportunities and ask for the Holy Spirit's help in fulfilling them.

What is appointed for us to do today?  Are we willing to accept these divine appointments as from God or do we see them merely as interruptions?  My prayer is that I would learn the lessons God wants to teach me and show my obedience by allowing Him to lead me in every situation.
