Book Review: The 60-Minute Money Workout by Ellie Kay

Learning how to use our money wisely is always of interest to me.  In The 60-Minute Money Workout by Ellie Kay, getting your finances in order is approached in the same way as a physical workout.  Each chapter has a warm up, strength training, cardio burn, heart rate and cool down section.

Most major money topics are covered, including ways to approach debt, retirement, travel, and even beginning a home-based business.  The author gives practical advice without getting bogged down in technical details and shares concrete steps you can use to work towards your financial goals.  She emphasizes the importance of managing your money with your spouse and asks readers to set aside an hour a week to tackle financial issues together.

While there are other financial planning books that I have found more practical and motivating, this book could be a helpful approach for those wanting to try a new format for organizing their finances.

What is your favorite money management book?
