That’s the game I most remember playing as a child.
Friday nights were family night when I was growing up. Dad was in the kitchen making pizza from scratch, with his four young helpers and taste testers alongside. After supper, it was time to play board games, anything from Sorry! to Life. But Parcheesi has the most memories attached to it.

Games Galore
With the weather getting warmer and evening hours filled with more day light, there are a variety of activities to draw us outside after supper. However, no matter the season, our family enjoys playing board and card games together. It's something I did as a child as well.
I love playing games too! So much fun when the whole family sits down for a friendly competition. ;)

Wow, I've never heard of half the games you mentioned in your post!! We love playing games too, and while the children really enjoy them, half the time they don't seem to "get" how to play them!! At this point they try to help each other win - not that I'm worried about it, I'm sure they'll learn to be competitive soon enough!! :)
ReplyDeleteNot everyone in my family loved playing games but my mom and I could sit and play Scrabble for hours. I miss her...
ReplyDeleteWe have a homemade pizza night in our home. My husband prefers it over store bought - so encouraging! Still trying to convince him that playing Scrabble or any other game is fun.
