I don't drink coffee or hot tea. Water is my beverage of choice, with a rare Coca Cola when I feel the need for a little caffeine. However, I know it can be fun and refreshing to sit and sip a tasty drink while talking with friends.
Today I'm going to show my daughters love by making one of their favorite drinks.

My older daughter is a big fan of coffee-flavored drinks. I'm going to make her this Creamy Blended Frozen Mocha Frappuccino. My younger daughter will be happy with a cup of hot chocolate. So when they get home this afternoon, we'll have a drinkable treat and catch up on their day!
For your daughter, it might be chocolate milk, a fruit smoothie, or a big glass of lemonade. Maybe you can pour a glass of your own favorite drink and enjoy a few minutes talking and sipping together!

My middle daughter keeps asking me to make her hot chocolate. You've convicted me. ;)
ReplyDeleteI have to say that my girls enjoyed their drinks :)
DeleteI made hot chocolate for Rachel this morning, and she really appreciated it!
DeleteAwww....glad she enjoyed it!!!
DeleteHot Chocolate & smoothies definitely speak love to my kids, and interestingly enough - tea (Starbucks chai latte & bubble tea) speak the most love to ME! One of the most heartfelt little ways JB & I show love to each other is to buy the other's tea order at either Sbux or bubble tea, whenever either of us goes on our own. :-)
