Blessed

Mother's Day weekend reminded me of how grateful I am that God allowed me to become a mother...

...and blessed us with two daughters who bring joy to our lives.

My husband, who made each part of Mother's Day weekend special, continued our traditional "Mother's Day Eve" outing with dinner at a nice restaurant followed by a walk on the beach.

Family traditions are strings that tie our hearts together.  We shape these moments in advance, embrace them in the present, then hold them in our memories forever.

Sharing a grateful spirit today with Laura at Gratituesday.

  4. What a great tradition! My girls and I love when Daddy takes us out. Their favorite thing is to get dressed up to go with him. And mine too!
The pictures are so pretty. We don't see much of the beach living here in KS!
