Daniel, a valiant prayer warrior, highlights this truth that is just as meaningful now as it was in his day.
There is nothing in me that warrants God's hearing and answering my requests. It is only because of His great mercy that He accepts me into His presence and grants me His favor.
Today let us praise God for His mercies; they are great, everlasting, and new every morning [Lamentations 3:22-23].
